All of our walk-in activities last for a maximum of 60 minutes.
Paint - A - Pot:
All pieces will be fired in our kilns and ready for pickup in 1 0 days.
All ages and experience levels are welcome.
Priced per piece, plus applicable tax. A $15.00 sitting fee applies to anyone not painting with the exception of any parents/ adults accompanying children.
Wheel and Handbuilding:
All our wheel and handbuilding classes must be booked ahead on our website, or over email for any private events (scroll down for additional information on our private parties and events).
Our daily walk-in hours are 12:00pm - 5:00pm. (PLEASE NOTE: we will pause walk-ins any time there is a weekly pottery class or the studio has conflicting activities).

Whether you’re planning an unforgettable date night, looking to escape the sun for a bit, or just curious about pottery and wanting to try your hand on the wheel - you’re in the right place.
Our Adult Wheel Classes and Grown Up & Me Classes are one-time classes lasting 90 minutes. This is a great way for individuals and groups to learn the basics of pottery while also getting a feel for the wheel in a casual, relaxed environment.
You can choose to keep your finished piece(s) from these classes for a fee of $15.00 per piece. However, due to the drying, firing, and glazing process, your piece will be finished by our staff and available for pickup 4 weeks after your class. We will notify you when your piece is finished, and we will hold your piece for 1 month after your piece’s completion before donating it. There is no fee to keep your piece(s) in our One Time Kids Classes.
All tools and aprons are included for this class.
For all one-time classes: the kiln is an unpredictable place, and occasionally pieces may not successfully make it through both firings intact. If this happens, we will work with you to find a fair solution. No refunds for the class will be made.
We ask that you please arrive 5 minutes early. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, it is up to the studio’s discretion whether we will honor your reservation.
Late arrivals will not be rescheduled.
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the start of your class for a refund. 24 hours is required to reschedule. All cancellation and/ or rescheduling requests must be made via email to info@blueskiespottery.com.

Maybe you’ve tried our one-time introductory workshops and can’t get enough, but even if you’re new to Blue Skies (or pottery!) and simply want something fun and creative to look forward to each week - this is the spot for you.
Our multi-week courses meet once weekly for 2 hours. Beginner and All-Level courses are designed to be taken multiple times, with students moving onto more advanced classes only once they’ve become comfortable centering, throwing cylinders, pulling walls, and trimming.
What’s Included:
Personal shelf space for your work.
Free unlimited open studio sessions for you to practice independently. These sessions are booked in (1) hour increments and are offered every day.
(1) 25 lb. bag of clay. Additional clay can be purchased for $25.00 per 25 lb. bag of fresh clay.
Wide selection of free glazes and underglazes to help personalize your pots.
15% discount for all students who re-enroll for the following session.
What’s Not Included:
Please bring your own tools, towel, and apron. Tool packs & Blue Skies aprons are available to purchase for $20.00 and $25.00, respectively, or $40.00 when purchased together.
Firing Fees for each piece you choose to fire in our kiln, the rate of which is $0.06 per cubic inch, and this cost covers both the bisque and glaze firing.
Dark red clay can be purchased for $35.00 per bag.
Students must be at least 18 years old. Any younger potters are welcome to sign up for our multi-week children’s courses!
Please note that while we offer makeup classes and strive to be as flexible as possible, all makeup classes and open studio sessions must be used during the session you registered in, unless you’re continuing your enrollment at the studio.
Cancellations must be made at least 1 week before the start of your first class for a full refund. No refunds will be provided for any classes once the session has begun.

Sometimes kids want to explore fun, creative activities that can turn into lifelong passions. Sometimes young teens want to be involved in activities that their schools might not offer. Sometimes parents just need a break.
That’s where Blue Skies comes in.
Our multi-week children’s courses meet once a week for 90 minutes. During our courses, kids will get to learn the basics of throwing on the wheel in a safe, fun environment, while also getting to experience hand-building with clay. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child or teen to use their imagination and create something with their hands that they can eventually take home with them.
All clay, glazes, and firings are included in our children’s courses.
Payment in full is required upon registration.
Please note Children must be at least 8 years old to sign up for the children’s course. Any children 7 years old or younger are welcome to sign up with an adult for our Grown-Up and Me course.
Make Up Policy: If your child has to miss a class, don’t worry! We offer make up classes, and they can join any of our other children’s classes during the session.
Cancellations must be made at least 1 week before the start of your child’s first class for a full refund.

Ain’t no party like a Blue Skies party ‘cuz a Blue Skies party don’t stop.
(For legal purposes we must mention that all
parties do in fact have to stop eventually).
Our brand-new, fully-outfitted studio is perfect for hosting birthday parties, corporate events, team-building activities, and more. For all private events, we require a minimum of 6 guests or the cost equivalent.
Wheel: $85.00 per person (min. 90 minutes - children must be at least 10 years old)
Hand building: $75.00 per person (min. 60 minutes - children must be at least 5 years old)
Paint-A-Pot: Minimum $40.00 per person (max. 90 minutes children must be at least 4 years old)
Private events & parties include 1 piece per person to be fired in our kilns and glazed in a color of your choosing. There is a fee of $15.00 per piece for any additional work you wish to keep.
All pieces will be ready 3-4 weeks after your party.
To book your reservation, we ask for payment in full 7 days before the event.

MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS

Memberships are available for advanced potters, and they include shelf space, unlimited open studio time during member hours, and unlimited use of studio glazes. You will receive (1) 25 lb. bag of clay on your first day of membership, after which you can purchase our studio clay. Dark red and porcelain clay are also available for purchase.
Members also receive 10% off all workshops, classes, and merchandise!
Firing fees of $0.06 per cubic inch will apply to each piece fired.
